In addition to the two Gulf Coast Museum of Art film series listed in a previous post, I've included the following items in the monthly Film Fan Fun calendar:
Spiritual Cinema Series -- a monthly film screening at the First Unity Church in St. Pete.
Sol Peska Summer Film Series -- Sol Peska was a nice, unassuming man who checked out videos -- mostly musicals -- from the Tarpon Springs Library on an almost daily basis. When he died several years ago, he bequeathed a large sum to the library. The library honors his memory with the Sol Peska Film Festival each year. I've just discovered that there's a Sol Peska Summer Film Series at the Leepa-Rattner Museum in Tarpon Springs that offers a free monthly film screening.
Free Family Flicks Series at Sunrise Cinemas -- each Saturday morning this summer, families are given free admission at a special screening at Sunrise Cinemas in Old Hyde Park Village.
TIGLIFF Summer Film Series -- the Tampa International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival has added a monthly screening at the Palladium Theater in downtown St. Pete this summer.
